High-Temp Rotational Ball - Tent Vent
A high-temperature replacement part for the rotational ball and kob of the tent vent. If the ball and/or knob from your original tent vent assembly have become damaged, this drop-in replacement will return it to fully-functional condition and help prevent against warping from excessive heat in the future.
Replacing this part is as simple as removing the two thumb screws that fasten the outer coupler plate to the inner plate, and dropping this new part in place of the old one. Cleaning and inspecting for damage on the spherical surfaces of both plates where the ball makes contact will make sure the new ball and knob function as expected for many camping trips to come!
This part is printed from an incredibly durable and heat-resistant carbon fiber ASA plastic, with thermal resistance up to 230F/110C — significantly higher than the base vent material which is rated to 155F/69C.
